⚠️ Important
This Refund Policy explains when platform service fees may be refunded. It is part of the Terms of Service.
A refund is not, and must never be understood as, any form of guarantee about health information, health outcomes, or the conduct or quality of any Advisor. Rebirthealth is an information platform and does not provide medical services — see the Medical Disclaimer.
1. What This Policy Covers
This Policy covers platform service fees paid by users, including:
- Publishing tier fees
- The promoter toolkit fee
- Advisor onboarding fees
- Handling of Task Funds (funds a Publisher commits in connection with a case)
This Policy does not create any entitlement to a refund based on dissatisfaction with the content of a health perspective, the opinion of any Advisor, or any health result.
2. Publishing Tiers
`- Free Tier (¥0): No payment, no refund applicable.
- Small-Scale (¥99), Large-Scale (¥299), Global (¥999): The deposit paid at posting is non-refundable. If no advisor submits a proposal within 48 hours, the full amount is refunded. Once proposals are received and you select an advisor, the remaining task fund enters escrow. If you accept delivery, a 30-day hold period begins; if no dispute is raised, funds are released to the advisor. Disputes during the hold period are handled through the platform's dispute resolution process.` The following must be completed to match the final, confirmed tier structure (see SPEC 21). 2.1 Free Tier
No fee is charged. No refund applies.
2.2 Paid Tier — Free Trial (¥0)
This tier includes the immediate delivery of an automated information summary and other listed features.
- Because the automated summary is delivered immediately upon purchase, this fee is non-refundable once the summary has been generated.
- Exception: if a technical failure on our side prevents delivery of the summary, you are entitled to a full refund of this fee.
2.3 Paid Tier — Small-Scale (¥99)
This tier includes the features of the lower paid tier plus additional services, and a service commitment regarding Advisor participation.
- If the stated level of Advisor participation is not reached within the stated period, you are entitled to a partial refund as described at the point of purchase. `a full refund of the amount paid`
- The portion corresponding to services already delivered (such as the information summary and any manual review performed) is non-refundable.
2.4 Paid Tier — Large-Scale (¥299)
This tier includes the features of the lower tiers plus additional services, and a stronger service commitment.
- If the stated level of Advisor participation is not reached within the stated period, you are entitled to a full refund of this tier fee as described at the point of purchase. `If no advisor submits a proposal within 48 hours of case posting, the user is entitled to a full refund of the amount paid for that tier`
2.5 Service Commitments
Any "service commitment" (for example, a stated minimum level of Advisor participation) is defined and displayed at the point of purchase. A refund triggered by a service commitment relates only to the platform service fee and is not compensation for any health-related matter.
3. Task Funds
"Task Funds" are amounts a Publisher commits in connection with a case.
`1. Posting: User pays a non-refundable deposit; funds enter the Rebirthealth escrow account. No funds are sent to any advisor at this stage.
2. Advisor selection: The remaining task fund leaves the user's payment method and joins the deposit in escrow, locked to the specific task.
3. Delivery and acceptance: Delivery does not release funds. The user must explicitly accept delivery.
4. 30-day hold period: After acceptance, funds remain in escrow for 30 days. If no dispute is raised, funds are automatically released to the advisor's platform wallet.
5. Dispute: If a dispute is raised during the hold period, fund release is paused and the platform's mediation process begins.
6. Platform fee: Rebirthealth deducts a platform fee from the advisor's portion. This fee is built into the task fund and is not charged separately to the user.` The handling of Task Funds must be described here accurately and in full, matching the real money flow and the capabilities of the payment processor(s). The template below must be confirmed or replaced.
- Before an Advisor is selected: Task Funds that have not been committed to a selected Advisor are refundable to the Publisher, less any non-refundable platform service fees.
- After an Advisor is selected: Task Funds become subject to the agreed arrangement between the Publisher and the selected Advisor. Refunds at this stage depend on whether work has been performed and are handled case by case.
- Disputes: disputes over Task Funds are handled under the Dispute Resolution / Section 16 of the Terms of Service.
4. Promoter Toolkit
The promoter toolkit is a digital product that unlocks promotion features.
- Because it is a digital product delivered immediately, the toolkit fee is non-refundable once access has been granted.
- Exception: if a technical failure on our side prevents access, you are entitled to a full refund.
5. Advisor Onboarding Fees
Where an Advisor pays an onboarding or review fee, that fee covers the review process itself.
- The fee is non-refundable once the review has been carried out, regardless of the review outcome (approval or rejection).
- Exception: if we fail to carry out the review, the fee is refundable.
6. When Refunds Are Not Available
Refunds are not available where:
- The relevant service has been fully delivered (e.g. an information summary already generated, a review already performed, toolkit access already granted), except in the specific exception cases above;
- A refund is requested on the basis of dissatisfaction with a health perspective, an Advisor's opinion, or a health outcome;
- The user has violated the Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy, including through fraud, misuse, or submission of false information;
- The request is made after any applicable time limit stated at the point of purchase.
7. Statutory Refund Rights
Nothing in this Policy removes or limits any refund or cancellation right you have under mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence, where such rights cannot be waived. Where such law gives you a stronger right than this Policy, that law applies to you.
⚠️ `` Mandatory consumer rights — for example EU/UK distance-selling and digital-content cancellation rules, and PRC consumer-protection rules — may grant cancellation or refund rights beyond this Policy. The interaction (especially the rule that digital content delivered immediately may lose the cancellation right only if the consumer expressly consented and acknowledged the loss) must be confirmed and reflected in the checkout flow.
8. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, contact support@rebirthealth.com with your account email, the transaction concerned, and the reason for the request. We will review eligible requests and respond within 7 business days.
9. How Refunds Are Issued
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method, in the original currency, within 5–10 business days of approval. Processing times of banks and payment processors may add additional time outside our control.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy. We will revise the Effective Date. Changes do not apply retroactively to purchases already made.

⚠️ ITEMS REQUIRING REVIEW:
1. Accuracy. Every number, condition, and money-flow statement here must match the live product exactly. Payment processors (Stripe in particular) audit refund policies against actual behavior; mismatches risk account action.
2. Digital-content cancellation rights. EU/UK and other consumer laws give consumers cancellation rights for digital content; these are typically lost only if the consumer expressly consented to immediate delivery and acknowledged losing the right. The checkout flow must capture this acknowledgment for the "non-refundable once delivered" clauses to hold.
3. Task Funds. If Task Funds are held in any way that resembles escrow or holding client money, this may itself be a regulated activity depending on jurisdiction and processor. Confirm the actual mechanism and whether it is permissible.
