I am a fifth-generation curandera from the Sierra Norte region of Oaxaca, carrying forward a lineage of plant medicine and ceremonial healing that stretches back over 150 years in my family. My grandmother, Doña Esperanza, began training me when I was seven years old, walking me through the mountainside to identify the medicinal plants that would become the foundation of my life's work. Over the past 25 years, I have dedicated myself to preserving and practicing the curanderismo tradition, specializing in limpia ceremonies, herbal preparations, and spiritual cleansing rituals that address illness at its roots—physical, emotional, and spiritual.
My practice integrates knowledge of over 200 medicinal plants native to the Oaxacan highlands, each one passed down through oral tradition and refined through decades of clinical observation. I conduct limpia ceremonies using eggs, copal, herbs, and prayer to restore energetic balance and remove spiritual blockages that manifest as physical ailments.
