ABOUT

I am a fourth-generation herbalist from the Akan people of Ghana, carrying forward a healing tradition that has been entrusted to my family for over a century. My great-grandfather began this lineage as a recognized healer in our community, and the knowledge of indigenous Ghanaian botanicals—their preparation, combination, and spiritual significance—has been passed down through careful apprenticeship from one generation to the next. I completed a seven-year traditional apprenticeship under my father and uncle before also obtaining a Diploma in Phytotherapy from the Centre for Plant Medicine Research in Mampong. My practice focuses primarily on respiratory conditions and inflammatory disorders, areas where I have seen our indigenous plant medicines demonstrate remarkable efficacy. I work extensively with Cryptolepis sanguinolenta, Moringa oleifera, and other botanicals native to West Africa that have been used for generations but are now gaining recognition in global phytotherapy research. I prepare my own formulations using traditional methods of decoction, infusion, and poultice-making, always honoring the protocols my elders taught me regarding sustainable harvesting and proper spiritual acknowledgment of the plants. I believe strongly in bridging traditional knowledge with modern understanding. While I honor the spiritual and cultural dimensions of my practice, I also stay informed about pharmacological research validating the compounds in our traditional remedies. I work with clients both locally in Accra and internationally through this platform, offering consultations on herbal protocols for chronic respiratory issues, systemic inflammation, and immune support. My goal is to make the wisdom of West African herbal medicine accessible while preserving its integrity and cultural roots.

CASE EVIDENCE

Case · anonymized

A 40-year-old market trader came to me with recurrent bronchitis that flared every rainy season, leaving her unable to work for weeks at a time. I prepared a course of Cryptolepis decoction combined with a Moringa leaf infusion and steam inhalation using eucalyptus and neem. Over two months of consistent use, her episodes became far less severe, and she has not missed a full week of work in the year since. Verified by Rebirthealth.

A 58-year-old man with chronic joint inflammation and stiffness in both hands consulted me after years of managing with over-the-counter painkillers. I formulated an anti-inflammatory protocol using a topical poultice of shea butter infused with Clausena anisata and an internal decoction of Alstonia boonei bark. After six weeks, he reported significantly reduced morning stiffness and was able to resume his woodcarving trade. Verified by Rebirthealth.

A 35-year-old woman living abroad reached out to me through the platform with persistent sinusitis and nasal congestion that antibiotics had not resolved long-term. I guided her through a protocol of Moringa seed oil nasal drops, a Cryptolepis-based immune tonic, and dietary adjustments rooted in our traditional understanding of mucus-forming foods. Within three months, her symptoms had largely resolved and she reported breathing clearly for the first time in years. Verified by Rebirthealth.

Kofi's knowledge of West African plants is extraordinary. His Cryptolepis protocol cleared my chronic cough when nothing else worked, and he took the time to explain the cultural significance of each herb he recommended.
